Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assistance and dedication to improving upon South African Social Security Company (SASSA) providers for the duration of an engagement using the company's senior administrators in a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric examinations.
On the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% with the registered pupils while in the schooling sector.
These learners attained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
